The purpose of this project was to design a brand identity for the San Francisco Fire Department Toy Program. The logo and poster will appear in over 60 buildings in San Francisco every Holiday season. It was a group effort including John West, Sinae Kim, Amy Lee and Chelsea. The design created was meant to represent the holidays, children and fun. It is shaped in a heart to signify the famous quote “I left my heart in San Francisco.” The finished identity was the winner of a 5 group competition.
The project was to redesign a well known brand. Regal Cinemas was in need of a new logo design. Consider an entire new look and feel for the company and have it emerge as a unique identity. With the new branding the company’s environment changed into a more sleek, elegant feel. A style guide was also designed along with many promotional pieces, concession items and merchandise.
Dias De Muertos
Brand identity for Day of the Dead, or Día de Muertos. The purpose of the logo is to persuade America to join in on the Mexican European influenced holiday. The identity displays a positive view on death with a flower. This represents life after death. The marigold is also common to be placed on alters during celebration. The bright colors help support the positive vibe.
