Learn More about Chelsea Reed and the campaign
Chelsea Reed loves everything about the lifestyle in her native state of Florida and her beautiful hometown of Palm Beach Gardens, where she’s lived most of her life. Chelsea and her husband, Michael have raised a family here as well as built their careers with small family businesses in the local medical industry. Her passion for the environment, her interest in education, transportation, healthcare and her concern for the future of her beloved city have led her to playing several official volunteer roles with the City of Palm Beach Gardens.
Chelsea is as an appointed member of the local Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board, and represents the city on the county’s Citizens Advisory Committee of the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency. Her volunteerism for local organizations first started when she passed out band-aids and candy at a neighborhood hospital at 5 years old. Chelsea is a longtime community activist and award-winning municipal leader who has dedicated her life to public service and volunteerism. She was recently awarded ‘Volunteer of the Year’ by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. Chelsea serves as Vice-Chair of the Environmental Subcommittee, the Chair of Artigras Recycling Committee and is a member of the Women in Business Council and the Governmental Affairs Committee. As a tireless volunteer, she has raised funds and awareness in nonprofit healthcare, parks, housing and has been integral in building schools and pushing sustainable best practices in business and healthy nutrition initiatives for children.
Most citizens of Palm Beach Gardens, when asked about their pressing issues, mention traffic, environment, education and healthcare. By utilizing the skills, knowledge and connections that she has garnered in her lifelong community involvement, Chelsea intends to take these matters head on. She will convince the voters of Palm Beach Gardens that she is the natural choice for election to the Council come next March.
Smart development, healthy public schools, forward thinking traffic decisions, and proactive environmental solutions are just a few areas that Chelsea wants to talk to voters about, starting now. Give her a call on her cellphone and tell her what your ideas and concerns are, because Chelsea Reed wants to be your voice on the City Council. "I was raised here, I have spent most of my life here, and I have stayed here," she said, “Palm Beach Gardens is on the verge of broadened development, and it is important to me to be the hometown voice of responsible growth, continued safety, smart and connected planning and proper policies for our future.”
As a local business owner, parent, and volunteer, Chelsea’s life is woven into the fabric of her hometown and she offers an unparalleled depth of history and vision to the future of Palm Beach Gardens. Chelsea Reed is running in the March 17, 2020 nonpartisan Palm Beach Gardens City Council at large election for Group 3.
