Your Hometown Mayor

Mayor Chelsea Reed loves everything about the lifestyle in her native state of Florida and her hometown of Palm Beach Gardens. Chelsea and her husband of 28 years, Michael, have raised their two children and built their careers in Palm Beach County.


Mayor Reed is proud to be the 2022 Public Sector Leadership Excellence Award Winner, as well as the 2022 Complete Streets Champion for Palm Beach County.

She is a dedicated public servant, mentor, advocate & volunteer, focusing her efforts on mobility, sustainability, smart growth, local business development, equity, marine conservation, youth and professional mentorship, and is a frequent public speaker and panelist.

In her free time, she is a marathon, trail and ultra-relay runner, adventure traveler and water sport athlete.
